VIRTUAL VOICE LESSONS

Whether you’re preparing for an audition, developing your sound as a singer-songwriter, or simply looking to strengthen your voice, my virtual voice lessons focus on helping you become a confident and expressive performer.

As a composer, vocal coach, and musical director, I approach voice training from both the technical and storytelling sides of singing. In our sessions we work on healthy vocal technique, breath support, range, tone, and vocal freedom—but just as importantly, we explore how to communicate through the music.

Students often bring audition material, musical theatre repertoire, pop songs, or original work. I also help singers interpret lyrics, connect emotionally to the material, and make clear storytelling choices. Each lesson is tailored to your goals and experience level, whether you’re a beginner or a working performer.

Lessons take place on Zoom with high-quality audio so you can hear both vocal coaching and live piano accompaniment clearly.

Testimonial

"Working with Scott completely transformed the way I approach singing. Not only did my technique improve, but he helped me understand how to actually tell the story of a song. His ability to combine vocal coaching, acting, and musical insight makes every lesson inspiring and incredibly productive."
— Jessica R., Musical Theatre Performer

Virtual Piano Lessons

My virtual piano lessons are designed for students who want to build strong musicianship while enjoying the process of making music. Whether you’re just starting out or returning to piano after years away, lessons are customized to your interests and learning style.

We focus on building solid fundamentals—reading music, rhythm, technique, and musical expression—while also exploring the styles of music you love. Students often work on musical theatre, pop, classical, and contemporary repertoire.

Because I’m an active composer and performer, I also incorporate creativity into lessons when appropriate: improvisation, understanding how songs are structured, and even beginning composition for students who are interested.

Lessons are interactive, supportive, and structured to help students progress quickly while staying motivated and confident.

Testimonial

"Scott makes piano lessons something I genuinely look forward to every week. He explains things clearly, keeps the lessons engaging, and somehow makes even the challenging parts feel achievable. My playing has improved more in a few months than I expected."
— David L., Adult Student
